The New England Journal of Medicine is one of the most highly respected journals in the world, and many famous papers have been and continue to be published there. This is a doctor-level website, so it’s not very approachable to the layman. But, for those willing to dig into it, especially teachers and researchers, their review articles can be excellent. Best of all, the Journal has very generously granted free archive full-text and PDF access to all of China (you need to be using a computer/IP address here). It’s a great gift to Chinese medical students, doctors, and researchers.
They also have great multimedia, including an image of the week section and downloadable powerpoint slides. You can also subscribe to their weekly table of contents.
